So... someone reported a Harry Potter LiveJournal icon that I've had up here for years (which was one of my most fav'd items) as art theft, apparently. Now, I have no idea why they did it... or how it is that DA decided it WAS theft. I made the icon. I mean, I'll grant that it's not amazingly difficult to make a LiveJournal icon, but... I made it. It was mine. I actually used it for a couple years on LJ before posting it here.

Ah, okay, a second note... apparently it was removed for copyright violation initially and they added an addendum to the ticket saying that it was ALSO art theft. So my LJ icon is apparently much, much worse than any other in the whole world. Coincidence that it has slashy overtones? Yeah, I'm thinkin' not.

By "it," I mean me. I am alive, I am mostly well (okay, getting over a cold), and I'm getting back in the game. Expect a bit of spam from me today as I try to get everything I've made since I last checked in listed. I love you guys, and thanks for being so patient while I've been AWOL!

Rebranding Time
I've come to the realization that since for more than a year I've actually been Beth Howard, not Beth Dobbs, now might be a good time for some rebranding. I haven't redone my identity or updated it at all since I graduated college, and since that was six years ago... well, it's starting to feel like time for a change. That means coming up with a new name, new logo, probably new colors... My brain hurts thinking about it, but it's a necessary step.
